Understanding your plan and services

Understanding and managing your NDIS plan and services can feel overwhelming, particularly if you have a lot of different types of funding and supports.

There are three main ways to manage your NDIS plan

1. Agency managed

This is when you engage the NDIA to manage your NDIS funds and directly pay registered support providers on your behalf. The NDIA offers plan management and advises what is involved with choosing a plan manager. This support can assist you in getting the most out of your services and funding.

2. Self-managed

You can choose to manage your own NDIS funds. In this option, the NDIS reimburses you for the NDIS supports you have received.

3. Plan managed

If you have a Plan Manager, the Healthcare Request support team will forward all invoices for the services you have used for your Plan Manager to reimburse.
