But just imagine what it could be. With <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/healthcarerequest.com.au\/ndis\/what-is-a-person-centred-ndis-plan-and-why-is-it-important\/\">client-centric NDIS planning<\/a><\/span>, each new year should be a time to reflect on the goals and achievements you want for your life over the next 12 months. Then, when it\u2019s time to review your NDIS plan, you have clear priorities for how your funding is used.<\/p>\n<p>But where do you begin?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: What fills you with joy?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Think about the areas of your life that give you happiness, you find fulfilling and\/or you love to do. While there will always be mundane tasks you need to do each week, you should also ensure you make time to do activities that give you a sense of achievement and joy. Don\u2019t procrastinate or minimise their importance because these moments of fun will become your happy memories later.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: Reflect on last year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new year is a time to reflect on the milestones you achieved last year but perhaps didn\u2019t appreciate. This can easily happen. You see sometimes, it\u2019s the small steps taken regularly that lead to the biggest outcomes. But because each step is small, we may not notice their importance. That\u2019s why it\u2019s good to reflect on where you were 12 months ago, so you can begin to imagine what could be possible by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3: Set realistic, achievable goals for this year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Goal setting can be tricky because a good goal will stretch your current abilities or thinking. However, it\u2019s essential to ensure every goal is achievable and realistic to prevent frustration and disappointment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As the year progresses, don\u2019t be afraid to modify your goals to make them more challenging if you are finding some easy to achieve or less challenging if any prove to be more difficult than you anticipated. To quote W. Clement Stone, \u201cAim for the moon. If you miss you may hit a star\u201d, and that sounds equally awesome.<\/p>\n<p>Life is too short, don\u2019t waste it<\/p>\n<p>Everyone has days that seem harder than others.
